Shandong Institute of physical education, founded in 1958, is a high-level provincial Ordinary College of physical education in China. The school has two campuses, Jinan (school headquarters) and Rizhao, with a total construction area of 580000 square meters and about 170000 square meters of various training venues. The first phase project of Qingdao industry education integration training base (Institute of sports and leisure industry) of Shandong Institute of physical education has been started on the Bank of Qixing River in Laixi City in May 2021. The project covers an area of more than 580 mu, a construction area of 155000 square meters and a total investment of 1.6 billion yuan. It is a government turnkey project and will be delivered in2023.
